TEHRAN – The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) in collaboration with the French Embassy plans to discuss the French New Wave cinema during a four-day program, which will open on April 23.
TMCA Director Majid Mollanoruzi, French Ambassador M. Bernard Poletti and some Iranian cineastes are scheduled to attend the opening ceremony.
The lineup composed of six movies includes Leos Carax’s crime drama “Mauvais Sang” (Bad Blood), which is about Alex, a young Simian card hustler who is coaxed into a heist after his father is murdered.
The movies will go on screen with Persian subtitles, and review sessions will also be organized.
